In the context of the National Shutdown, we clarify that the members of the National Police retained in the Agora of the House of Ecuadorian Culture are – as can be verified by all the news media who wish to and by the thousands of people present – guaranteed their human rights, physical, psychological, and survival in situation of social upheaval, as indicated in the Constitution of the Republic and other international instruments.
